Butter Wouldn't Melt!!

Look at this little cutie - if you didn't know it you'd think he was such a little angel eh? HA!!

All dressed up for Red Nose Day in his dressing gown ready to take Tom the Teddy to Nursery for the Teddy Bear's Picnic. He had a great time!!

I'm getting ready for my holidays next week - part of which entails having to put away lots of my stash ready for visitors straight after we come home. I have to finish a couple of Mother's Day projects first and then pack my suitcase.

Maid Charlotte has been coloured with Promarkers and Sakura pens. I have used Bazzill card and wonderful papers from My Mind's Eye "Grow" collection. The little flowers and hearts were a magazine freebie. Thanks for looking.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges - One for the Boys

The theme this week from Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges is "One for the Boys" and I thought this cute Cuddly Buddly sailor bear would be just perfect for the challenge! I've coloured him with Promarkers and mounted him onto paper from the K&Co Sea Glass collection. A little raffia twisty thing and a Dymo sentiment finish him off.

Don't forget to pop on over to the blog to see the lovely creations from the Design Team and our Guest Designer, Kellie.

I've done it again!

Combined challenges that is! It's getting a habit which I am going to try and stop BUT saying that we are away next week and I have rather a lot to do before we go so I think I can be forgiven (again!).

This card is for Penny Black Saturday's 3-2-1 Recipe, Daring Cardmaker's "Patchwork" theme, Stamp Something's "Favourites" theme (the fabby papers) and I have used the wonderful sketch by Mumur from Friday Sketchers.

I have coloured this lovely Penny Black patchwork dress girl stamp with Polychromos Pencils and Sansodor and have used these wonderful papers from My Mind's Eye - "Grow" collection. I love them sooooooooo much right now!! They were from Craft Obsessions and they also sell a pack of co-ordinating Bazzill card! The flowers are Flora Doodles and the crochet flower is from Poppicrafts. Sentiment is from a Hero Arts set and I have used chalks to create the background.

Thanks for looking - I'm off to do this week's DT work and then coming round for a blog hop as I didn't get on the computer at all yesterday. Doing my Martha Stewart thing in the kitchen.

Gothic Arches - Fantasy

I am so honoured to be the hostess on this week's Gothic Arches!!

I have created the arch background using Adirondack inks and some bleach. I used embossed vellum for the wings and a bottle top filled with Diamond Glaze and some Beadazzles. The beautiful Faerie stamp is from Lavinia Stamps and I have used Beadazzles to accent other areas.

Thanks for looking.

Rainbow Lady #50 - Recipe

A recipe from Cynthia this week on Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog.

Take one white card.
One rubber stamp.
A hand made flower or two.
Some ribbon.
A couple of corner peel offs or peel off strips.
Colour scheme of RED, BLUE AND SILVER

I found this HARD! I am not used to making "simple" cards these days!! It did me good. I do like to step out of my comfort zone every once in a while and I am pleased with the effect of this card.

Tilda with Tulips has been coloured with Promarkers and I have triple embossed her tulips with clear EP. Corner punch is X-Cut. I made the flowers with Woodware punches and finished them off with a Swarovski crystal. Peel-offs and ribbon are from Joanna Sheen and I have used a Craftwork Cards sentiment, coloured with dye ink and again triple embossed. Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday # 50 - Wine and Dine

A nice and easy theme this week from Cute Card Thursday - just show us some food or drink on your card. We have an amazing prize this week from Michelle of Poppicrafts for one lucky entrant - a £20 voucher to spend in this wonderful shop!! Pop on over to the blog to see the DT's amazing submissions and see our GD's lovely creation.

I got the Polychromos pencils and Sansodor out for these cute Cuddly Buddly teddies and have added clear Sakura gel pen accents here and there. Sentiment is Hero Arts stamped in blue Brilliance and triple embossed. Paper is Basic Grey Marakesh and I have used a Wizard die to cut out the flowers. The jewelled brads and filigree centre were from Poppicrafts. Thanks for looking!

Windy Tilda

Well maybe this doesn't cover a zillion challenges like I said yesterday but it does cover 3!! The windy Tilda image is for this week's theme "Cold Winter Wind" on Stamp Something, the edges are for the "Torn Edges" theme from Spoonful of Sugar and the circle sentiment and punched corners fit in with this week's Daring Cardmakers theme of "All Things Circular".

This lovely Magnolia stamp was sent to me by my fabby friend Sue as Tilda and Sue just weren't getting along and Sue very kindly sent Tilda to a new home here. I have coloured her with Promarkers, White Fun Flock and Sakura Glaze and Stardust pens with some paper piecing on her dress and hat. Paper is from Basic Grey Marakesh collection. Loving this!! Card is Stampin' Up. I have punched out the flowers and leaves using the same paper and card. Sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly and ribbon from Poppicraft.

Thanks for looking!

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges - Double Trouble!

What a fantastic theme this week from Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges! It really got me thinking!!

"This week our theme is Double Trouble and we would like to see you have twice the fun and use doubles on your ATC, such as two flowers, two ribbons, two papers and even two images if you can manage it!"

I haven't used this Manolia Stamp "Bunnikins" for ages and it just seemed a perfect for this challenge. I have coloured the two images with Promarkers and Sakura Souffle pens. The two background papers are from Basic Grey Phoebe 6x6 paper pad. Two Card Candies from Craftwork Cards and a Dymo sentiment finish it off.

Don't forget to pop on over to the blog to see the Design Teams fabby creations. This month we have Kellie joining us as Guest Designer PLUS if you joined in last week with our special birthday celebrations Annie will be announcing the winners of those fantastic stamps later!!

I'm So Proud!

I would be very pleased to claim this card for myself but it's actually Ben's! I had to share it as I am so proud of him. He designed the card himself, chose his stamps and inks and made the entire thing. The only help he had was for me to stick the tree onto the base card.

This is for daddy as a welcome home card for Thursday. Ben always makes him something but this time I think he will be totally blown away!!

Sentiment stamp is Hero Arts and the tree is from Graphicus Arboretum Build a Tree set.

I got all my charity cards made last night so am just catching up with some DT work and I should have a card to show later - although I am planning on combining a zillion challenges on one card!!

Gothic Arches - Pink and Brown

Great theme this week from Gothic Arches chosen by Kelly Burton. I have had the bleach out for this one and apart from gassing the house really enjoyed it. I just cannot get on with the Castaway pad and prefer to use bleach for a no-nonsense works every time solution! All the stamps are by Paper Artsy from their Squiggly Ink range and I have done some masking off to create the little house scene. Thanks for looking.

I am having a few days off challenges now otherwise I will never make this year's cards for Marie Curie Cancer Care Campaign!

Cute Card Thursday # 49 - Animal Magic

We are up to our eyeballs in bugs again here. Ben is now on Anti-biotics after being off colour on and off since December and I have had three lots of Anti-biotics already and now have steroids to try and shift this sinus/ear infection. Not good but things can only get better!

This week the challenge on Cute Card Thursday this week is to show us an animal on your card. We have a gorgeous stamp to give away to one lucky entrant this week too so pop on over to the blog to have a look and also check out the DT's wonderful creations!

This Penny Black sheep has been coloured with Promarkers and highlighted with Sparkle & Sprinkle "Puff" embossing powder and I pricked then chalked the background. The paper is from DCWV Pocketful of Posies Stack and the background is a from a Graphicus backgrounds set stamped with Adirondack Stonewashed ink. Card is SU. Some punched and Prima flowers, a bit of stapled ribbon, Swarovski crystals and a magazine freebie sentiment finish it off. Thanks for looking.

Rainbow Lady #49 - People

I am really pleased and honoured to be sponsoring the challenge this week on Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog!! I have enjoyed joining in with this varied and interesting challenge on and off since the very first one. I am very happy to be offering a prize to one lucky entrant of a set of 10 Promarkers "Comic Art Set 1" and a Mad Rat Rubber Stamp Co stamp "Queen of Hearts" (from their Alice in Wonderland collection).

The theme for this week is "People". Please interpret this whichever way you want - cute, vintage, collage ANYTHING but do have FUN!! I so look forward to seeing what you create.

I made this card for my mum using Adirondack inks sponged onto card and over-stamped. The same inks were sponged onto the Stampbord piece and the beautiful sentiment (from a DCWV quote pack). I then stamped the Stampsmith image "Ophelia" onto the Stampbord and etched out some highlights. The ribbon I thought mirrored her hair and I do like a bit of ribbon! Thanks for looking.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges - Happy Birthday to Us!!

Happy birthday to Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges!!

"Yes Tilda and Friends is one year old! At times I wondered if we could keep it going for so long, but I'm glad we stuck with it and I hope our second year will see more Tilda and Friends fans joining in the fun with us. So to celebrate we have pressents! We have cute dragon stamps from High Hopes kindly donated by our very own Fran, and take a look at her ATC to see one of them. The first stamp will be given away once we have over 5 people joining in the fun, then when we have over 10 another stamp and if we get over 20 players the third stamp! Now should we get over 30 players I have a Magnolia stamp in reserve. So for a chance at one of our presents all you have to do is make an ATC with the theme of Happy Birthday and link your creation in the comments section under this post."

I have coloured this lovely Penny Black stamp with Promarkers and gone over the balloons with clear Sakura glaze pen and the background with chalk. A couple of embossed pieces of pearl card, spotty ribbon and some gems finish it off.

Don't forget - you've got to be in it to win it!!

A Spoonful of Sugar #40 - Shape Shifters

A quick card today as I am behind with everything!! Great theme this week from A Spoonful of Sugar, which is to make a different shaped card.

I got my inspiration for this from the Nikki and Jacqui on the DT who used their Nestabilities to cut out a shaped card. Great idea ladies!! This Sugar Nellie stamp is "Angus the wee dog". I haven't used him for ages and I just love him! He's coloured with Promarkers and some Sakura touches here and there. The fabby sentiment is from Elzybells. I have stamped the background with a stamp from Crafty Individuals in Adirondack Pink Sherbert ink. Pink card is SU. Flower buttons are from Poppicrafts and flowers are Prima. Thanks for looking. Off to do some DT work now!!
