Daring Cardmakers

Well here it is - my first "blog card"!! This is the card I have submitted to Daring Cardmakers. The challenge is Ribbons and it led me to the site Ribbon Oasis where the yummy two colour ribbon came from (amongst other things!!). The wonderful reindeer poem stamp is from Penny Black and I was so excited to get this I have used it loads this year. It's embossed in red metallic embossing powder but my camera has insisted on showing this and the card base as pinkish!! This is mounted onto green woven card and the background stamped with (I think)an Anita's stamp in Versamark which I chalked over in gold. Not been feeling too well last few days so this is the first thing I've done and finished!!

Starting this thing!!

Well this is the first of what I hope will become a regular thing - updating with crafting piccies and just waffle from my life. I have enjoyed reading so many other crafty blogs (particularly Ink n Rubba - http://inknrubba.blogspot.com/ and Suziblutube http://www.suziblu.blogspot.com/) that I thought I would have a go. I usually craft every day at some point and have found myself becoming a bit "random" recently i.e. I don't actually MAKE anything - just have a play (which is good fun too!!). I have components to make about a zillion things at the moment lol!! Anyway I intend to try and post something every day to give me the incentive to actually FINISH something. HaHa. I am also going to challenge myself and become a Daring Cardmaker.
