The theme this week from
Daring Cardmakers is "This Way" and they want you to use arrows on your card whereas
Stamp Something have set a challenge to make a "Birthday Something" this week!
I needed to make DH's brother's 40th birthday card for next month and have been wanting to have a go at one of these Joy Fold Cards for a while after seeing a forum member's version on the
Stamping Mad Craft Forum. The instructions came from Split Coast Stampers
here. A really unusual looking card but very easy to make. I just altered mine slightly in that I cut double size for the base card and folded it in half so the finished item would stand up like a standard card.

The Magnolia "Cool Edwin" stamp has been coloured with Polychromos Pencils and Sansodor and I have gone over his jacket and shoes with clear Sakura Gel Pen to give them a shine. The papers were free with Crafts Beautiful months ago. The curved arrows are brads and I have added ribbon, gems and Sakura Stardust accents to punched stars to finish it off. Thanks for looking.
