Friday Sketchers #15

This week it's the turn of France's representative Mumur to set the sketch from Friday Sketchers and a lovely one it is too - I can see myself using this one again!

This is Charlotte Decorating Christmas Tree from Whiff of Joy Stamps. Isn't she just gorgeous? I just had the best fun colouring her in with Promarkers and Sakura Stardust pens - it's hard to stop adding that glitter to this image! I raided my Christmas stash for all the card and paper, stickers and ribbon. Thanks for looking.

It is just so dark here today and I just could not get a good photograph of this. I will try later if it brightens up later - one can hope!

Stamp with Sarah Kay #7 - Sketch

Another great sketch this week from Stamp with Sarah Kay and I seem to be in a brown mood at the moment!

This Sarah Kay stamp by Stampavie has been coloured with Promarkers and Ranger white pen and I softened the background with chalks. I have used Siesta Mocha papers and SU card for the background and the flowers are a combination of die-cuts, Prima and Scrap Fairies with self adhesive pearls for the centres. Ribbon is Hobbycraft and sentiment is from K&Co Grand Adhesions Life's Journey. I really am trying to use us some of the 3 drawers of stickers I have! Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday #23 - Soft Furnishings

Very exciting this week on Cute Card Thursday as we have been given two ALOTA stamps to give away - sofa and window - hence the theme "Soft Furnishings". You can use fabric, ribbon, stitching, buttons - anything you can find on the soft furnishings in the home ie curtains, cushions, sofas etc.

This Sarah Kay stamp by Stampavie has been coloured with Promarkers with Ranger white pen accents. The backing paper is K&Co McKenna and I have used beautiful burgundy velvet ribbon from my local florist and a mixture of fabric flowers from Mad About Cards and paper flowers from Prima and Scrap Fairies. The Zoomz are from Stamp Galaxy and the stamp is Studio G. Thanks for looking.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges - August Seasons Theme

Carrying on with the month-long theme of "Seasons" from Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges is "Summer".

Tilda with her rubber ring has been coloured with Promarkers and dots added with Sakura Souffle pens. Backing paper is Basic Grey Two Scoops and I have made the sun with a glitter brad and gold flower. Some ric rac and ribbon with little self adhesive pearls finishes it off.

Don't forget to keep popping over to the challenge blog as the DT are adding more seasonal creations all the time and we look forward to seeing your creations too!

Challenges

On the Stamping Mad Craft Forum we are having a virtual challenge to create a 6x4" piece with the theme for August being "Floral". I used Adirondack alcohol inks to make the background and added this stamp from Crafty Individuals, a Fantasy Fibre dragonfly, some ribbon and a couple of gems for mine. As it's a month-long theme I think I may well do another yet!

We also have a monthly Card, ATC and Moo swap on the forum and the theme for the Moos this month was "Text". Anyone not familiar with Moos - they are tiny creations of 2.8 x 7 cm! I used some tissue paper, Twinkling H2Os and acetate and over-stamped with this Hero Arts Stamp before adding a little bling to each one.

We are in also the middle of our third mini-book page swap too at the moment and I will share these when we have finished!

New Look Blog

I've been messing around with my blog today after following the link from Fran to the fabby Cutest Blog on the Block. I am really happy with this one - it matches the wonderful banner I already had from Siggi Shop!
