I have made this card to combine four challenges namely 1) Heidi's great sketch from Friday Sketchers 2) Cynthia's "Scenes" challenge from Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog 3) "3d Somethings" theme from Stamp Something and 4) "Fish and/or a Frog" from Daring Cardmakers.
Fishing Edwin and the fish are by Magnolia Stamps and I have made the fish 3d. Colouring is with Promarkers and Twinkling H2o's and I have gone over the top of the fish with some glossy Modge Podge. The sentiment is from a SeeD set and is again coloured with Promarkers. Paper is from K&Co Hopscotch Boy 6x6 paper pad and card is SU. Brads are Dovecraft. Thanks for looking.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 4 - One!
The current challenge from The Sugar Bowl is to use only ONE patterned paper!
The paper in question is from K&Co Wild Saffron 12x12 paper pad. It IS double sided but I was a good girl and only used one side! I have coloured this beautiful Sugar Nellie designed by Elizabeth Bell with Promarkers and Sakura pens, made some embossed borders from SU card and got a bit carried away with the ribbon embellishment(!).
Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday #48 - Signs of Spring
Well we have snowdrops and crocus flowers in abundance here in South West Scotland and even some lambs in the fields so Spring is slowly approaching - which brings me to this week's challenge from Cute Card Thursday which is "Signs of Spring". The DT have just created some lovelies again this week and we have a new Guest Designer joining us for the next two weeks so pop on over to the blog for inspiration ♥♥

Thanks for looking and I hope you join in the fun.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges - Shady Lady!
The challenge from Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges this week is to "use shades of one main colour, in addition to hair and skin tones or natural backgrounds, after all brown skies and pink grass might look a bit strange! What we want to see is shades of one main colour used for the clothing, embellishments or any patterned papers you plan on using". The DT have created some fabby shady ATCs so pop on over and take a look ♥♥
This cute Tilda with Puppy has been coloured with Promarkers and Sakura gold gel pen. Paper is from a Papermania strip (Brown & Creams). Large brad and crochet flower from Poppicrafts, gems by Swarovski and sentiment from stash (code for I can't remember!).

Penny Black Saturday #36 - Sketch by Nat
I finally got my mini-photographic studio set up so can actually take pictures at night now that look at least something like the original. Very pleased with the true-colourness of this picture actually.
This card is made using the fabby sketch by Nat for Penny Black Saturday. I have coloured Penny Black "Uplifting Occasion" with Promarkers and used Basic Grey Ambrosia papers with embossed SU card. Ribbon was from Scrapz, pearl brads from Poppicrafts, flowers are Prima and little ribbon flowers were from our local haberdashery. Thanks for looking.

Small World of Inchies & Twinchies - The Kiss
I so enjoyed making this little thing last week I had to join in again. This week the theme from Small World of Inchies and Twinchies is "The Kiss". I find these old pictures fascinating - I love to try and imagine who they were and what their lives were like. I fancy this is a devoted pair of sisters - hence the sentiment! Thanks for looking.

Gothic Arches - Mardi Gras
As it's Mardi Gras time in New Orleans next weekend, this is the theme from Gothic Arches.
This lady started off life as Marlene Dietrich - she was the only image I have that the mask fitted!! I have added this Creative Expressions sentiment to an alcohol ink background and made her an elaborate headdress. She's even got her ticket ready!

DCM - "Feeling Green"
This week the challenge from Daring Cardmakers is "Feeling Green" - that is to make a card with lots of green. There is a double dare to make it a Get Well card.
I used this Graphicus "Create a Tree" stamp on a brayered and masked background (loving this technique right now - can you tell??!!). Lots of layering, some tartan ribbon and a little stamped sentiment that was a freebie a long time ago finish it off.
I want to share my son's creative talents too today!! These are the Valentines cards he made yesterday. He made two of the red one for both his Grannies but then insisted that his Grandpa had to have his own that was more "manly" so made the blue one!! He chose everything and stamped the lot himself - even punched out the circle with the image in the middle. For 4 he has such a good design and colour eye don't you think!!
Thanks for looking.
