Catch-up

Hello - my name is Lynn and it's been a very long time since my last blog post!! I have had awful problems with bursitis in my shoulder which stopped play, but I did have most of my Cute Card Thursday Design Team cards made months in advance. I just forgot to share them on here. Anyway, here they are.

CCT#335 & 336

I can't blame Mr. Blogger for last week - I forgot to blog!!

This is the card I made for the theme "School Days" on the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog. I've used K&Co papers, Stampin' Up card and CC Designs stamps, which are coloured with Promarkers/Copics. The background is a Lost Coast Designs stamp.

This week the theme is "Anything Goes" and we are sponsored by Sunflower Field.  A friend's daughter is 21 this week and she asked me to made something special. These box-card thingies (technical term) are everything just now and I love them so I thought it would be a little keepsake. The card is Stardream and Stampin' Up and I've used a right of mixture of dies from Cottage Cutz, Spellbinders, Stampin' Up, Marianne and Stampin' Up punches.

CCT#330 - Fun in the Sun

Hello Thursday yet again! We're having fun in the sun on Cute Card Thursday. For my card I used one of my very favourite stamps which was one of the first I ever bought. It's by Creative Expressions and was made for Joanna Sheen. I've coloured it with Promarkers and Copics. The papers are by Crafty Individuals, as is the sentiment. I've used Impression Obsession dies for the shells and then used real shells on top.

CCT#329 - Pretty Papers

Oh dear - another week has gone by in a blink again!! This week on Cute Card Thursday we're using our pretty papers (well not all of them you understand, there aren't enough cards in the world to hold MY paper collection and some of then will NEVER be cut into lol!). We are sponsored by Whiff of Joy and it's definitely worth entering!

These pretties are from a lovely My Mind's Eye collection paper pad and they co-ordinary with the Stampin' Up colour pallete really well. The flowers and sentiment are Stampin' Up too and I've used a Stampin' Up scalloped border punch on the papers.

CCT#327 - Circles & CCT#328 - Seeing Stars

Last week the theme on Cute Card Thursday was "Circles", which I completely forgot to blog! This card started out as a kit sent to me by my lovely Stampin' Up demo Natalie O'Shea and it contains all the new "In Colours" for this year. I tweaked the card a bit to suit my needs and the result was this.

This week we are looking for stars on your creations. I made this as a postcard for the UK Stampers Forum monthly postcard swap. It's a very "old school" Magnolia "Tilda" stamp and is coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment is Magnolia also. I used a Prima background paper and inked up the Loast Coast stars before colouring them with Promarkers too. The circles are done by dipping an Adirondack dabber top into the ink pad.

I've used Crafty Indivuals papers and stamps, with the exception of the flock of seagulls, which is a Hobby Arts stamp. The seagull die is by Impression Obsession and the "sand" in the shaker is Distress embossing powder!!

Cute Card Thursday #322 - Text Only

Naughty Mr Blogger!

Well, I have been living under the blatantly obvious delusionary state that Mr Blogger has actually been publishing all my Cute Card Thursday scheduled posts. That'll teach me!! I thought it had been quiet on the old blog front (well, a bit more quiet than usual). Here's the cards. Naughty Mr Blogger!!

This was for the theme "Floral Delights" and was this year's Mother's Day card. The image is by Stampin' Up and I coloured with Promarkers/Copics.

I made this card for the theme "All Boy". It's using High Hopes stamps, masked off to make the scene. Again coloured with Copics and Promarkers.

A card for the "Easter Treats" theme using a Penny Black stamp and coloured with Promarkers/Copics.

This was for the theme "Splish Splash" and is a Whiff of Joy, Elisabeth Bell stamp.

I made this card for the theme "Blue and Green" and was my DH's birthday card. The idea was from the Impression Obsession blog and the dies are by them.

Last but by no means least is the current theme's challenge of "Paw Pals". The background is an Impression Obsession stamp coloured with gelatos and the main image is by LeLo designs coloured with Promarkers and Copics.

CCT#313 - It's a Wild World

This week on Cute Card Thursday it's wildlife or animals on your creations. I've used all High Hope stamps and coloured with Copics and Promarkers. It seemed like a good idea at the time but was a LOT of masking and stamping. Never mind - I'm pleased with how it turned out.

We are sponsored by our fabby regular sponsor Whimsy Stamps who are giving away an amazing prize of 5 free digi stamps to one lucky entrant!
