Well - who DIDN'T get (or buy themselves) something new over Christmas? Exactly!! That's why we want to see your new stash this week on Cute Card Thursday!!
This stamp is from Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit collection and as I had a gardening mad friend to make a special card for it was just perfect! I have coloured him with Promarkers and Sakura pens. The background is just a little blue ink on plain card over-inked with white "clouds". Paper is from Basic Grey Offbeat and Boxer 6x6 paper pads. Punch is Stampin Up and the button was off an old coat!!
We have a beautiful stamp this week to give away to one lucky entrant so don't forget to pop on over to the blog for details and to see the DT's wonderful creations (and have a nosey at their new stash too!).

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges - New Year, New Stuff!
It's great to be getting back to the DT stuff again and the first of the year is Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges. This week our theme is "New Stuff" - an ideal opportunity to play with your crafty presents and try out those new stamps, pens or papers! We have Anesha joining the Design Team throughout January and we will have another call for a February guest designer in a couple of weeks time. Also you can now use all different kinds of craft on your ATC, not just stamping, so downloads, printed decoupage and anything goes!!
This is Tilda with Tag from the Magnolia New Year collection. I have coloured with Promarkers and sakura pens and stamped part of a little SeeD sentiment stamp on the tag - boy that tag is tiny!! The papers are from the Basic Grey Ambrosia 6x6 paper pad. Some velvet ribbon and a couple of Swarovski gems finish it off.

Combining Challenges Again!
It always feels like cheating a bit but really I just made this card for the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog whose challenge this week is to sand your embossing, BUT when I saw the themes this week from both Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog and Stamp Something were to use something new on your card, then I'm afraid I just had to combine the challenges!! My Stamposaurus elephant stamp and the Basic Grey Boxer backing paper plus the leaf vine and corner dies are new so you can see why I gave into temptation!
The image has been coloured with Promarkers and Sakura pens and I have used a scalloped square Nestie to cut it out. I have used Cor'dinations Black Magic card through the embossing folder and sanded it to show the pink core and also used the Cuttlebug for the vine swirls and corners.Whatever did we do without our die-cutting machines?!!
I now have caught up and we are back to "normal" tomorrow (whatever that is)!!
The Sugar Bowl Challenge #1 - Sketch by Tiets
Ooooooh isn't it exciting??!! All us Sugar Nellie lovers now have a new home and Tiets has provided a fabby sketch for the first challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. I have used this beautiful stamp by Sugar Nellie, designed by Elizabeth Bell, Sweet Art Ebony "Daisy". I have coloured her with Promakers and Sakura Souffle pens. The background papers are by Basic Grey and are a mixture of Eva and Urban Praerie from 6x6 paper pads. The vanilla card I stamped with Magnolia Stamp New Year's Swirl in red pigment ink and added a few tiny hearts here and there. Sentiment is by Joanna Sheen and a ribbon from Scrapz, ribbon slider from Maya Road plus a couple of Swarovski gems finish it off.
If you haven't checked the blog out and you are a fan of the House of Sugar be sure to pop on over as they have all sorts going on there, not just challenges. There's also a different challenge running set by Marlene to make paper beads which I am going to have a go at later!!
