Something I've gotten myself into in the next 12 months is to make the invitations, place cards etc. for a friend's wedding next year. Well - I started having a play last night and this is what I came up with. My friend and her intended chose the stamp themselves and I was asked for "plain" with white and silver. I made the little UTEE embellishment in the Melting Pot after using a Heritage Stamp pushed into Mould and Pour to make a mould.
Comments please - I have never made any invitations before and would like to get it right before I show it to my friend and her finance!

You did a great job it looks very elegant.
I think this is gorgeous and a elegant card. Its very difficult making for others, we all like different things.
very simple and elegant Lynn but it's always difficult when making for someone else. I've not made invites before but would say you need to bear in mind how repeatable/easy it will be - is the embellishment easy & quick to make or will you be sick of them after the 'umpteenth'? Oo, just thought of another one - will they need to 'send' loads in which case is it thin enough to go through as a normal letter and not large letter. (sorry, got my practical head on LOL)xx
Lyn it's fabulous - so classy and elegant.
