I will be missing until the new year now as we are going on holiday and then I am having an op for an ongoing health problem so I would like to wish all my lovely bloggy friends a very merry Christmas.

Altered CD Swap
Another altered item from a UK Stampers Forum swap. This time it was to alter a CD.
I decided to make a clock as I have had movements FOREVER and never used them lol!! I used Adirondack dabbers on the fingers to make them metallic. The paper is from Prima Botanicals 6x6 pad and is over-sprayed with Glimmer Mists using a Tim Holtz mask. The sentiment is from a Paper Artsy set and the other stamps are from Crafty Individuals. The numbers are peel-offs from Anita's Glitterations range. Some chain and charms finish it off (thank you Crop-a-Dile!!).

Upcycling
Following on from the sardine tin swap a few of us on the UK Stampers forum entered into a tuna tin swap. This is mine.
I painted the tin with gesso and an Adirondack dabber before covering with paper stamped with a Papermania chandelier stamp.
I cut some chipboard for the dividers and a piece for the lid, decorated and added a little Websters Pages button on top. A few little embellies for the inside and it was ready to swap!!

CCT#181 - At the Office!!
My word I don't know where the time is going at the moment. I have been busy with my modest little harvest and all the jam/chutney etc. making that that brings. I have also been getting inky with Art Journals, some altered projects and other lovely things that make me smile.
This week on Cute Card Thursday we want to see stationery and office products on your creations - staples, paper clips, bulldogs clips etc.
I used a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with Promarkers to make this card for my husband's nephew. The background was made using this month's free stamp from Craft Stamper magazine. The sentiment is from a Whimsy Stamps set and the embossed "Rock" is from the bottom of a Papermania stamp with a guitar on it. Lots of staples from my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher grunge it up a bit.

Sardines!
On the UK Stampers Forum we had an altered sardine tin swap and, as I do like something a bit(!) different I thought I would give it a go. I stared at it for a few days and just couldn't get away from the "fishy" feeling so went for this fabulous stamp designed by Suzi Blu for Unity Stamps. She's called "Elena Seaside" and I think she's guarding all her treasure. Is the gentleman whose picture is in the locket the jewel-eyed skull in the chest? Only Elena knows the truth ...............
