Inchie Swap #1

Over on the UK Stampers Forum (link in sidebar), Sid is organising an Inchie swap based on the Continents. We are to do nine Inchies (same or different) and will get nine different ones back. At the end we will use our 54 different Inchies to make something. This is the first one - "Africa".

I went with the fertility angle and the theory that all life began in this Continent. It wasn't easy to fit all this onto something one inch square but I am pretty pleased with the way it turned out.

The background was created with Adirondack Dabbers in Sunset Orange and Red Pepper then over "splooshed" with gold. I inked up part of a huge round native-style stamp I have had forever-and-a-day (code for I can't remember who made it) with black Ranger Archival. A Swarovski gem, computer-printed sentiment (font size 4!!) and about 10 coats of Modge Podge glossy finish it off.

I am really excited about this swap and cannot wait to receive all those little pieces of creativity over the next few months!!
